Manhunt For Suspect In Santa Rosa Bank Robbery
SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) -- Police have released a surveillance image of a man who robbed a bank in Santa Rosa Wednesday afternoon and was believed to have fled in a gray SUV.
Santa Rosa police responded to a report at 1:37 p.m. of a robbery at the Bank of America Coddington Branch located at 1155 W. Steel Lane.
Officers arrived after the suspect had already fled, but they learned that the white man in his 20s had been toting a firearm and handed a teller a note stating his intention to rob the bank.
The suspect, who is approximately 6 feet tall and weights 180 pounds, wore a green and brown camouflage baseball hat, a black colored zippered hooded sweatshirt, a black T-shirt, khaki cargo pants, and black tennis shoes, police said.
