Manhunt For Suspect In Murder Of Oakland Boy
OAKLAND (CBS/BCN) -- Officers are looking for a man suspected of shooting and killing a boy near a church in Oakland late Sunday night, an Oakland police officer said.
At approximately 10:10 p.m., police were dispatched to the 1600 block of East 15th Street, near Saint Anthony's Church, on the report of a shooting.
Officers arrived on the scene and found a boy in the street, suffering from a gunshot wound, Oakland police Officer J. Moore said.
Moore said that the victim was pronounced dead on the scene.
Police had made no arrests as of 4:15 a.m. on Monday, but Moore said an investigation is under way.
