Son Arrested In Gruesome Fatal Stabbing Of Parents At Sonoma County Home After Manhunt

SONOMA COUNTY (CBS SF) -- A manhunt ended in Mendocino County after authorities arrested a man suspected in the gruesome fatal stabbing of his parents at their home in unincorporated Sonoma County.

Sonoma County Sheriff's deputies got a call at about 9:28 a.m. Monday, from a man who said his nephew had just killed his brother and sister-in-law. He told the dispatcher he had seen all three covered in blood.

When deputies arrived at the house at 1220 Sexton Road, in the Twin Hills neighborhood near Sebastopol, they found a man and a woman stabbed multiple times with a sharp object. They were identified as David and Adrienne Wilson and declared dead at the scene.

Authorities were searching for the couple's son who has been identified as 34-year-old Nathan Alexander Wilson. He is the prime suspect in the stabbing death of his parents.

Wilson lives on the property and was last seen covered in blood near a shed on the property. Authorities believe he fled the scene in a black Toyota truck. They warn he is strong and has been known to carry a knife.

Wilson was arrested Monday afternoon after spending most of the day on the run.
