Man, Woman Sought In SF Marina District Bank Robbery
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Police were seeking a man and woman who robbed a bank in San Francisco's Marina District on Thursday afternoon.
The robbery was reported about 2 p.m. in the 2100 block of Chestnut Street.
One of the suspects entered the bank and asked a female teller for a roll of quarters, but when the teller opened the drawer, the suspect pointed a black handgun at her and ordered her to hand over all of the $100 bills inside, police said.
The teller complied and handed over the cash to the suspect, who fled with a second suspect who was standing at the bank entrance as a lookout, according to police.
The pair, described as a man and woman between 25 and 35 years old, fled east on Chestnut Street in a white, four-door sedan and had not been found as of this morning, police said.
No one was injured in the robbery.
