Man Struck, Killed On Hwy. 101 In San Jose
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- All lanes were reopened on northbound U.S. Highway 101 in San Jose Saturday morning following a pedestrian fatality Friday night, according to the California Highway Patrol.
A pedestrian on the northbound section of the highway near the Old Bayshore Highway off-ramp was first reported at 7:18 p.m.
He may have been trying to cross the highway when a car struck him, according to the CHP.
Initial reports indicated the victim may have been an elderly man, but were not confirmed.
