Man Stabbed Multiple Times In SF's Mission District During Giants' World Series Celebration
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF ) -- A man was stabbed multiple times in San Francisco's Mission District during rowdy celebrations following the San Francisco Giants' World Series victory Wednesday night.
The stabbing occurred around 11 p.m. at 24th and Valencia Streets, according to San Francisco police spokesman Gordon Shyy.
The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to San Francisco General Hospital, Shyy said.
The stabbing is among a string of violent incidents that rocked the Mission District Wednesday night, including two non-fatal shootings and multiple assaults against police officers.
No suspect information is currently available, according to police.
