Man Stabbed In Robbery Near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man suffered life-threatening stab wounds in a robbery near San Francisco's Fisherman's Wharf early Saturday morning, police said.
The 25-year-old victim was approached by two men in their 20s from different directions near the corner of Bay Street and Columbus Avenue around 3 a.m.
The first suspect knocked the man to the ground and the second stabbed him three times. The man's cellphone was stolen and the two suspects fled.
The victim walked home and his roommate drove him to St. Francis Hospital. He was then taken to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries considered life-threatening.
