Man Shot While Driving From Dumbarton Bridge In Menlo Park
MENLO PARK (CBS SF) -- A man was shot and wounded while driving from the Dumbarton Bridge in Menlo Park on Friday evening, Menlo Park police said.
East Palo Alto police received reports that a person had been shot on the bridge at 5:15 p.m., according to police in Menlo Park.
Police located the victim's vehicle north of the bridge on U.S. Highway 101 near Woodside Road in Redwood City.
The victim, a 30-year-old man, was treated at the scene for a gunshot wound and transported to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, police said.
The shooting is believed to have taken place on westbound Bayfront Expressway between University Avenue and Willow Road, coming off of the bridge in Menlo Park.
Menlo Park police are seeking four suspects in a dark green four-door car last seen driving westbound on the Bayfront Expressway towards Willow Road.
