2 Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Antioch Man
ANTIOCH (CBS SF) - A man and woman were arrested early Friday morning on suspicion of fatally shooting a man in Antioch Thursday night, a police lieutenant said.
Police arrested Antioch residents Felicia Viscaina, 25, and Joshua Perry, 31, around 4:30 a.m. Friday.
Investigators believe the pair killed Vaughn Walker, 44, also of Antioch, on Thursday night, after an argument over money Walker allegedly owed them, Lt. Diane Aguinaga said.
Walker arrived at a hospital around 8:30 p.m. Thursday with a gunshot wound and succumbed to his injuries about an hour later, authorities said.
Officers determined that he had been shot in front of a home at 50 W. 18th St., where police found evidence of a shooting.
Aguinaga said that it is unclear how Viscaina and Perry knew the victim, but said that both suspects have extensive criminal records.
Police said they expect murder charges to be filed against the suspects, who are each being held in county jail in Martinez on $1 million bail.
