Man Shot In Leg In San Francisco's Fillmore District
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A 43-year-old man was shot in the leg in San Francisco's Fillmore District Friday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
Police received a report at 2:37 p.m. that a person had been shot near Fillmore Street and Geary Boulevard, Officer Albie Esparza said.
Responding officers located the victim, who had been shot in his leg.
Esparza said that the person who reported the shooting was being uncooperative and that there was no information about the suspect as of 2:50 p.m.
The fire department also responded to the scene, and a fire dispatcher said the shooting may have occurred at a barber shop near the intersection of Fillmore Street and Geary Boulevard, according to the dispatcher.
