Man Shot Dead Outside Vallejo Motel 6
VALLEJO (CBS SF) -- A 26-year-old man was fatally shot outside a Motel 6 in Vallejo on Tuesday evening, police said.
At about 6:45 p.m. Vallejo police responded to the Motel 6 parking lot located at 458 Fairgrounds Drive, on a report that a man was suffering from at least one gunshot wound, police said.
Officers arrived at the scene and located an unresponsive 26-year-old man with at least one gunshot wound, police said.
The man was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased, according to police.
His identity was being withheld pending notification of his next of kin, police said.
Police have not released any suspect information and the fatal shooting remained under investigation.
