Man Shot Dead During Fight In East Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) - A man who was fatally shot during an altercation in East Oakland Wednesday evening has been identified as 27-year-old Marcellus Bradley of Oakland, according to a police spokesman.
Officer Holly Joshi said police went to the 2000 block of 55th Avenue at about 5:40 p.m. Wednesday after receiving reports that someone had been shot.
Officers found Bradley suffering from apparent gunshot wounds, and he was taken by ambulance to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead, she said.
The motive for the murder was still under investigation Thursday, and no suspects had been arrested, Joshi said.
