1 Man Shot Dead, Another Wounded In Concord Parking Lot
CONCORD (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating a Friday-night shooting in Concord that left one person dead and sent another to the hospital.
Officers responded at 11:04 p.m. to the area of Lacey Lane and Monument Boulevard on a report of gunshots fired and found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, police said.
The man was in a nearby parking lot in the 1500 block of Frisbie Court. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers located a second shooting victim on Lacey Lane near Monument Boulevard. The victim, a man, was transported to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police said it appears both men were together in a nearby parking lot when an unidentified Hispanic man approached and shot the victims.
The suspect then fled the scene.
Police said the circumstances that led to the shooting are unclear.
