Man Seriously Wounded In Stabbing In East Palo Alto

EAST PALO ALTO (CBS SF) -- One person was seriously injured in a stabbing in East Palo Alto early Monday morning, police said.

Officers responded to a report of a fight in progress inside a home at 1112 Newbridge St. at 3:21 a.m.

KCBS' Matt Bigler Reports:

When they arrived, they found a resident suffering from multiple stab wounds, police said. The victim was treated at the scene then taken to a hospital, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.

No arrests have been made in the case, and police have not yet established a motive for the stabbing.
