Man Punched, Pepper Sprayed In SF North Beach Robbery
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A man was sprayed in the face and punched during a robbery in San Francisco's North Beach neighborhood early Friday morning, police said.
The 28-year-old man was walking in the 600 block of Columbus Avenue around 1:50 a.m. when a male and female suspect approached him.
The female assailant sprayed him in the face with pepper spray while the male suspect punched him in the ribs, police said.
The two then stole the victim's property and drove off in a car, police said. The man lost his cellphone, laptop and four credit cards in the attack.
He was treated in North Beach and did not need to go to a hospital for his injuries, police said.
