Man Goes Missing During Vallejo Dog Walk
VALLEJO (BCN) - Police in Vallejo are asking for the public's help in locating a 45-year-old man who has not been seen nor heard from in 11 days.
On Feb. 5, Robert Mast left his home on Santa Clara Street to walk his dog, a white and black female pit bull, police said. The dog was later seen in the River Park area and returned home that evening dragging her leash.
Friends and family members told police that Mast's lack of communication is highly unusual, and that he travels everywhere with his dog, to whom he is very attached.
Mast is described as a white man standing 6 feet 6 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds, with brown eyes and blonde hair.
Police say the circumstances surrounding Mast's whereabouts are suspicious.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Vallejo police major case section at (800) 488-9383. Anonymous tipster can submit information to the Solano Crime Stoppers at (707) 644-STOP (7867).
