Man Found With Fatal Gunshot Wound To The Head In Antioch
ANTIOCH (CBS SF) -- A 30-year-old man was found dead from a gunshot wound to the head inside an apartment in Antioch Tuesday night, a police corporal said Wednesday.
Officers responded to several reports of a shooting at an apartment complex in the 2100 block of L Street at about 8:40 p.m., Cpl. James McMurry said.
When officers arrived, they found a man inside an apartment suffering from a single gunshot wound to the head, McMurry said.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
McMurry said witnesses provided statements to investigators and a handgun was recovered at the scene.
