Man Found Shot Dead On Hayward Street
HAYWARD (BCN) - A man was found fatally shot in unincorporated Hayward on Thursday evening, an Alameda County sheriff's spokesman said Friday.
The shooting was reported shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday near the intersection of Garden Avenue and West A Street, sheriff's Sgt. J.D. Nelson said.
Deputies responded and found the 24-year-old victim lying on the curb with multiple gunshot wounds. The man, whose name is not yet being released, was pronounced dead at the scene, Nelson said.
No arrests have been made in connection with the shooting and no suspect information was available this morning, he said.
