Man Found Dead In Parked Car At Bay Point Wetlands
BAY POINT (BCN) -- A 44-year-old man was found dead in a parked car at the Bay Point Wetlands on Sunday evening, East Bay Regional Park District police said.
A district police officer on patrol noticed a man in a vehicle around 7:35 p.m. Medical aid arrived for the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The man's name has not yet been released, and the coroner's office is still working to determine what caused his death.
East Bay Regional Park District police Detective K. Wong said there was no immediate indication that foul play was involved.
The Bay Point Wetlands are located off of Port Chicago Highway, near the McAvoy Yacht Harbor.
