Man Arraigned For Trying To Lure Underage Girls Into Prostitution At Alameda Co. Fair
PLEASANTON (KCBS)— A Pleasanton man accused of trying to lure underage girls into prostitution at the Alameda County fair was arraigned Tuesday afternoon.
According to police, 34-year-old Aaron Gimbert, who was arrested on Sunday was working for one of the companies that operated a game at the fair.
Alameda County Sheriff's Sgt. J.D. Nelson said Gimbert was arrested on the last day of the fair in Pleasanton on suspicion of using misrepresentation to solicit a person into a life of prostitution.

"What he would do is he would see girls and he would talk to them and then hand them a card that basically says if they turn 18 that they'd get a signing bonus and it had pictures of topless women on it," Nelson said.
The cards with the words "Big Pimpin Inc." offered a $1,000 sign-on bonus for an 18th birthday contract.
Nelson said members of the Sexual Assault Felony Enforcement or SAFE task force were at the fair and observed Gimbert hand out a card to at least one underage teenage girl on Saturday and another on Sunday.
"He was basically a contractor to one of the games. He's not affiliated with the fair or the carnival even, but he's one of the game operators," Nelson said.
Gimbert has been held in the Santa Rita Jail in Dublin on $50,000 dollars bail.
