Magnitude 6.2 Quake Hits Argentina After Deadly 7.8 In New Zealand
ARGENTINA (CBS SF) -- A moderate earthquake struck Argentina hours after a deadly quake hit New Zealand Sunday, the USGS reported.
The magnitude 6.2 quake struck just after 8 a.m. near the country's border with Chile.
No injuries or damage was immediately reported.
A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck Christchurch in New Zealand just in the early hours of Monday, killing two people after opening up snaking fissures in roads, and triggering landslides.
