Los Altos police release sketch of man suspected of attacking 89-year-old
Los Altos police released a sketch Monday in hopes of finding the person responsible for attacking an 89-year-old man.
The suspect is described as a white male, between the ages of 20 and 40, 6 feet tall and with a thin to average build.
The attack happened sometime between the late morning and mid-afternoon on Sept. 17 in the Foothill Expressway and Highway 280 area. Police said the attacker was wearing a long-sleeve shirt, pants and may have had a baseball cap.
The 89-year-old man has since been released from the hospital and is recovering at home.
