Lingering Fog Prompts Lengthy SFO Flight Delays
SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (CBS SF) - Heavy fog was causing lengthy flight delays at San Francisco International Airport that were likely to continue throughout the day.
Airport duty manager Shannon Wilson said arriving flights were about 90 minutes behind schedule as of 11 a.m.

A weather-related ground-delay program was expected remain in effect throughout the day and will affect departing flights starting Tuesday afternoon, Wilson said. Delays of several hours were possible.
