Larry Magid: Google Unveils Customizable Phone, The Moto X
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – Google has unveiled a new mobile phone, due out later this summer, called the Moto X, which has a lot of unique features.
The Moto X is part of Google's Motorola division and is one of the first phones designed by Motorola as a full subsidiary of Google.

It was assembled in the United States, which is unusual, as most smartphones are assembled in Asia. It is also priced higher than the iPhone and Samsung Galaxy 4, but will be available for all four national wireless carriers – Verizon, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile.
The phone also has some interesting features, including a customization option. Also, it's always listening for its owner's voice. Unlike Siri on the iPhone, users won't have to press a button to give a command. Instead, you can just give a command to the Moto X, which is especially helpful for directions.
The phones are expected to go on sale in late August or early September – starting at $200.
