Lady Gaga In Talks For 'A Star Is Born' Remake

(RADIO.COM) – Lady Gag is currently in negotiations to play the lead role in Bradley Cooper's remake of A Star is Born, according to a report in Variety.
A Star Is Born has been remade multiple times, including versions in 1937, 1954 and 1976—the latter starring Barbra Streisand, so there's certainly precedent for a popular diva to play the female lead.
Beyoncé was previously rumored to play the lead in this latest film version.
No doubt Gaga would slay as Esther Blodgett (aka Vicki Lester) but perhaps not great news for Little Monster eagerly awaiting new music.
