Kayaker Rescued After Falling Into Bay Near San Mateo
SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- A kayaker was rescued Monday morning after he fell from his boat into the Bay near San Mateo, a U.S. Coast Guard lieutenant commander said.
The capsized kayaker was reported around 10:30 a.m. in the water near Seal Point Park, located at J. Hart Clinton Drive and Third Avenue in San Mateo.
He had apparently fallen into the water. He was brought to shore by the San Mateo County harbormaster just before 11 a.m., Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. B. Rosas said.
He was not injured in the incident.
The U.S. Coast Guard assisted with the rescue.
