Katy Perry Checks In At Facebook
PALO ALTO (CBSSF/99.7NOW) - Katy Perry was at the Facebook headquarters on Wednesday. She appeared on Facebook Live to announce the dates for her US and Canadian tour, hung out with Mark Zuckerberg, and did a little Q&A for her Facebook fans.

Katy Perry's tour consists of 41 dates, starting in Atlanta on June 7, she'll be hitting the Bay Area on the 12th of August this year performing at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, then finishing up her tour in her home town of Santa Barbara on August 14. But if your not going to be in the States during those times no worries, she is also visiting Australia, Japan, Europe and the UK this year.
"The California Dreams tour is coming to the USA…And Canada! You can't forget the Canadians, they get really p***** if you do."
When asked why she had chosen the platform to make the announcement, she joked:
"This is Facebook. You're like the government."
The concert is said to be really awesome and interactive, she will use Facebook places and fans can 'check in' to the tour venues, and receive prizes. Attendees can also use Twitter and Facebook while at the venues, and their tweets will appear on a screen during the concert.
So, for all you fans, mark it on your calender. She will be at the HP Pavilion in San Jose on August 12th, and tickets go on sale as soon as Friday. For more tour information, click here.
