Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez's Cheating Lyrics

(RADIO.COM) – Selena Gomez's newest studio album Revival and Justin Bieber's newest studio album Purpose contain tracks that created all kinds of speculation about their relationship and why it ended.
Now that Gomez has accused Bieber of cheating multiple times, it's making us listen to their music in a new light. Here are two revealing songs from each album that we can't help but hear differently based on this new accusation.
"I'll Show You"
On the second song off his album, Bieber sings, "Sometimes it's hard to do the right thing/ When the pressure's coming down like lightning/ It's like they want me to be perfect/ When they don't even know that I'm hurting." Before Gomez laid these new accusations at his feet, it seemed like he was just an average pop star growing up in the limelight and needing to live life his way. But now it seems as though he could be hinting at the affairs that caused the downfall of his relationship and his inability to stop behaving badly. "I've got to learn things, learn them the hard way/ Got to see what it feels like, no matter what they say," he sings.
"Sorry"
At the time of its release, "Sorry" seemed like Bieber's breakup apology to Gomez. He pines on the track for what he's lost and knows he'll never get back. Even still, he can't help asking, "Is it too late now to say sorry?" Now that his alleged cheating has come to light what he's apologizing for takes on whole new meaning. "I know you know that I made those mistakes maybe once or twice/ By once or twice I mean maybe a couple a hundred times," he sings in the opening verse.
"Sober"
On Gomez's song, she finds that her partner doesn't love her in the cold light of day. At night, he's promising one thing, but during the day he's delivering another. It's Gomez's first verse that's most telling, though. "We fall for each other at the wrong time/ Only for a moment, but I don't mind/ Guess I don't know where to draw the line, the line, the line/ And we'll play the same game every night," she sings.
"Perfect"
Gomez's last song on Revival offers plenty of clues. She sings about dealing with the suspicion and jealousy that results from knowing her boyfriend is likely seeing someone on the side. "Different inflection when you say my name/ Kiss me, but your kiss don't taste the same/Is it real or am I going out of my mind?/ Curious 'bout the company that you keep/ 'Cause I hear you talking 'bout her in your sleep/ And now you've got me talking 'bout her in mine," she sings in the opening verse, her voice dripping with emotion.
