Jury Selection In Boston Marathon Bombing Suspect's Trial
BOSTON (CBS SF) -- Jury selection begins Monday in the trial of the suspected Boston Marathon Bomber.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev is facing the death penalty in connection with the killing of three people and wounding of 260 more when two bombs exploded near the finish of the 2013 race.
Tsarnaev is also accused of killing an MIT police officer while on the run after the bombing.
Jury selection is expected to take several weeks.
Martinez boy Aaron Hern, who was 12 years-old at the time, was waiting for his mother Katherine to cross the finish line in the marathon when the bombs went off.
The Martinez Junior High student underwent a long and painful recovery.
