Jump On Tomorrow: A's Lease Vote, Richmond Refinery Ruling, Lucy Li, 'Terminator' At Oracle, Victoria's Secret Models
SAN FRANCISCO (KBCW) -- A's lease deal. In a dramatic last-minute decision the board that manages the Oakland Coliseum voted to approve the new 10-year-lease with the A's and the Board of Supes is expected to follow suit. Meanwhile, A's owner Lew Wolff says he isn't ruling out a possible rebuild at the Coliseum.
Richmond refinery ruling. The Richmond city council is expected to vote on the conditions for Chevron's billion-dollar refinery modernization project.
Golfer Lucy Li talks to kids. 11-year-old golf phenom Lucy Li is going to speak at the Boys and Girls Club at the Half Moon Bay golf links Tuesday. Lucy is the youngest woman to qualify for the U.S. Women's Open and she'll be talking about her experiences to girls who are about her own age.
'Terminator' meets Oracle. If you live or work near Redwood Shores you may come face to face with The Terminator. The fifth Terminator movie is filming scenes on the Oracle campus through Wednesday. No word yet on whether Arnold Schwarzenegger will be there but he is in the movie. The producers of the film are keeping it all in the family -- their dad is Oracle CEO Larry Ellison.
Best Movie Fest Ever. It'll be a blast from the past Tuesday, beginning at 1 p.m. at the Century Theatre complex in San Francisco. That's when the "Best Movie Fest Ever" will begin showings of Oklahoma, Moulin Rouge and Hello Dolly and one $15 ticket will get you in to all of them.
What is Sexy campaign. Want to meet a real-life angel? Now is your chance. The Victoria Secret Angels will be flying in to the lingerie store in Union Square Tuesday to kick off their "What is Sexy?" celebration. Supermodel Lily Aldridge will be there at 6 p.m. to pose for pictures and sign autographs.
