Jewelry Store In San Jose Mall Hit By 'Smash And Grab' Robber
SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A jewelry store at a San Jose mall was hit by a "smash and grab" robber on Monday evening, police said.
The robbery was reported at 5:50 p.m. at a jewelry store in the Eastridge Shopping Center, located at 2200 Eastridge Loop, just off of Tully Road.
The suspect broke a glass case, took several items from the store and fled on foot, police said. No injuries were reported in the heist.
