Jaycee Dugard Releases Public Service Announcement
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS/AP) - Jaycee Dugard released a public service announcement Friday urging people to help keep their neighborhoods safe by looking out for strange occurrences, especially involving children.

The 20-second spot begins with a close-up of Dugard, then shows neighborhood scenes of families walking down tree-lined sidewalks.
An empty swing sways in a park as Dugard tells viewers to speak out if they see something amiss. She says, "You might be wrong, but you might just save someone's life."
The PSA ends with Dugard walking arm-in-arm with her mother, Terry Probyn.
The spot promotes the JAYC Foundation, which helps families get treatment following an abduction or other traumatic event. It can be viewed on the foundation's website.
Dugard was kidnapped from her South Lake Tahoe home at age 11 and resurfaced in August 2009. Now 31, she has maintained her privacy while living in Northern California with her mother and her two daughters fathered by Phillip Garrido.
