Susan Sarandon & Julia Roberts in "Stepmom" (credit: Columbia Pictures)
The perfect way to celebrate Mom is with a good movie. It could be a drama, a comedy or musical. Even an aunt who raises her nephew like Rosalind Russell as "Auntie Mame." She may have hangovers, but she's got glamour and guts!

One of Jan's favorite movies about Moms is John Water's brilliant "Serial Mom" about a loving Mom played by Kathleen Turner who gets seriously annoyed by people who don't recycle or wear white after Labor Day.
"I REMEMBER MAMA (1948)"
"I Remember Mama" is about a Norwegian Family and is set in San Francisco, with scenes shot at the Fairmont Hotel.
"THE BLIND SIDE (2009)"
