SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - '3 Days To Kill' is an action thriller with a higher body count than Kevin Costner's 'Hatfields and McCoys'. No matter why the bodies are falling everywhere, it's a kick to see Costner. There seems to be a truth when he speaks, especially playing a curmudgeon with a heart of gold.

3 DAYS TO KILL (PG-13)
In this film, directed by TV producer-turned film director, McG, Costner plays a sick and tired C.I.A. hit man; a lifer for the agency now working his last job for (of course) a sex goddess. He also needs to patch things up with his wife and teen daughter, who keeps interrupting his killing with hairdo and boyfriend problems. The best part of this repetitive shootout is that it happens in Paris, where they do some great location work here. But because there are so many bodies and car chases; all we know is that there's some reason to go after an albino.
It's impossible to engage or invest in this silly movie. It feels like an expensive TV series. It should do well overseas, but it's full of vapid, mindless, guns and the stereotypical "hot" women. Nonetheless, it's always good to see Costner back in the saddle. I just hope he returns in something better.
