Fans Of In-N-Out Hamburgers Flock To New Alameda Location, Light Up Social Media
ALAMEDA (CBS SF) -- Bay Area fans of In-N-Out burgers have descended on the restaurant chain's newest location in Alameda, creating instant lines at the drive-through and crowds inside.
The new location was open for business Thursday at 555 Willie Stargell Ave. near College of Alameda.
The nearest spots for enjoying Double-Double burgers and "animal" fries are across the bridge at SF's Fisherman's Wharf or down Interstate 880 just south of the Coliseum on Hegenberger Road.
Social media was awash with likes and tweets of approval, along with an equal number of complaints about the long lines.
