Illegal Marijuana Operation Discovered At Oakland Gift Shop
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- As much as 28 pounds of marijuana was discovered at an Oakland gift shop Wednesday afternoon, police said.
The marijuana operation was found after a search warrant was executed around 12:40 p.m. at the business located in the 700 block of 55th Street, police said.
The warrant was issued after information came in from the community about suspicious activity at the shop, police said.
Three adults were arrested on suspicion of possession for sale of marijuana and hashish, according to police.
Police found an illegal firearm, 28 pounds of marijuana and 1 pound of hashish, or concentrated cannabis.
One of the three suspects was also arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a loaded firearm, police said.
