House Under Construction In San Mateo Damaged By Fire
SAN MATEO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters battled a one-alarm blaze at a home that was under construction in San Mateo Thursday
morning, fire officials said.
The fire, located at a residence in the 900 block of Viewridge Drive near Laurelwood park, was reported around 12:40 a.m., according to fire officials.
The fire was knocked down by firefighters about 1:11 a.m., fire officials said.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, and arson investigators were expected to arrive later in the morning, fire officials said.
