Hospital Worker Robbed In Walnut Creek Parking Garage
WALNUT CREEK (CBS SF) -- Three suspects remain at large after robbing a hospital worker in a parking garage in Walnut Creek late Wednesday night, police said.
Officers responded to a report that an armed robbery had just occurred in a parking garage at the Kaiser Permanente hospital located at 1425 S. Main St. at about 11:35 p.m. Wednesday, police said.
When officers arrived, they found a hospital employee had been robbed. The suspects fled the scene in a silver SUV, possibly a Toyota Highlander, police said.
Officers searched the area but could not find the suspect vehicle.
One suspect is described as a white man in his 20s, average height and build, and was wearing a black jacket with gray sleeves, black pants and white tennis shoes. He was armed with a knife at the time of the robbery, police said.
A second suspect with a similar description as the first suspect was armed with a bat. There was a third suspect, but no description was provided, according to police.
No one was injured in the robbery.
