Homes Damaged By Vallejo 5-Alarm Fire
VALLEJO (CBS SF) - Firefighters have controlled a blaze that broke out at a Vallejo home near the Six Flags Discovery Kingdom amusement park Thursday afternoon, a fire dispatcher said.
The fire, which at one point had reached five-alarms, burned at a home on Limestone Drive and burned a neighboring home, the dispatcher said.
Chopper 5 video showed extensive damage to the two structures. Firefighters appeared to be gaining the upper hand on the blaze.
Firefighters had controlled the fire as of 4 p.m.
