Hit-And-Run Driver Misses Turn, Crashes SUV Into House In Fairfield

FAIRFIELD (CBS SF) -- A hit-and-run driver missed a turn and crashed into a home in Fairfield early Tuesday morning.

It happened at about 6:30 a.m. in the 2700 block of Applewood Drive.

Police say the driver missed the turn in the road and collided into the home.

He allegedly ran off following the crash and is now facing hit-and-run charges.

No one was injured inside the house.
