Hillsborough Prowler Scared Off By Screaming Resident
HILLSBOROUGH (CBS SF) -- Police were on the lookout for a would-be burglar who fled a Hillsborough home this morning after a resident spotted him and screamed.
Hillsborough police Sgt. Nelson Corteway said a man wearing a black hoodie with the hood tied around his face was spotted inside a home in the 600 block of West Santa Inez Avenue around 9 a.m.
The resident screamed, scaring away the suspect, then called 911, police said.
A witness told police that a suspect matching that description was seen running west on West Santa Inez Avenue.
