Fallen tree temporarily shuts portion of Highway 92 in San Mateo

Westbound lanes of state Highway 92 in San Mateo on Tuesday morning after a fallen tree shut down a portion of the freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP said around 6:30 a.m., a tree went down on the portion of westbound Highway 92 east of De Anza Boulevard in San Mateo, shutting down westbound and eastbound lanes in the area.

At about 7:15 a.m., authorities announced the freeway was fully accessible again.
