Storm-Downed Tree Blocks Southbound Hwy 13 In Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- All lanes of southbound Highway 13 in Oakland were reopened Saturday afternoon after crews cleared a fallen tree, California Highway Patrol officials said.
All lanes were open as of 4:02 p.m. at Redwood Road, but the off-ramp was still closed.
The downed tree was reported at 2:11 p.m., CHP Officer James Evans said.

The CHP issued a traffic alert at 2:30 p.m. to make drivers aware of the road closure.
