High Speed Chase Ends With Crash In Martinez
MARTINEZ (CBS SF) -- A high speed chase through the Bay Area Wednesday ended with a crash in Martinez.
It started at 11:30 p.m. in Vallejo and ended after the pickup truck ran over spike strips then hit the center divider on Interstate 680.
CHP says the driver then lit some papers on fire inside the car.
A K9 unit helped officers remove the suspect from the truck.
He was taken to the hospital to be checked out and later arrested.
