HERCULES (CBS SF) -- Police in Hercules were attempting to locate a suspect who robbed a man at gunpoint at a Wells Fargo ATM early Monday morning.
Around 4:40 a.m., a man was using the ATM at a Wells Fargo branch at 1572 Sycamore Ave. when a suspect walked up, pointed a gun at him and demanded cash, police said.
The victim dropped his wallet and the suspect picked it up and fled, running toward nearby Refugio Valley Park, police said.
Police said officers checked the park but were unable to locate the suspect, described as a black male in his late teens who is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs roughly 150 pounds.
He was wearing blue jeans, a black sweatshirt, black baseball cap and a blue bandana across his face at the time of the robbery, according to police.
