Heat Closes San Jose Park
Extreme fire-related conditions have prompted the City of San Jose to temporarily close Alum Rock Park Wednesday.
No public access or activities of any kind will be allowed in the park during this emergency closure.
The park is expected to re-open Thursday, but if the weather conditions within the park are not at a fire safe level, the park will remain closed until the criteria are met.
