Head-On Crash Causes Major Delays On Golden Gate Bridge
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- All lanes on the Golden Gate Bridge reopened following a multi-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Southbound lanes were blocked for about 45 minutes by the crash, which was reported at 3:27 p.m. Initial reports indicate the accident, which involved at least three vehicles, was a head-on collision, CHP Sgt. John Carman said.
Only minor injuries were reported, but it was unclear how many people were involved.
All southbound lanes and one northbound lane were closed but reopened at 4:15 p.m.

While initial reports suggested a motorcycle was involved, it appears that that is not the case, Carman said.
