Harbaugh Brothers Haven't Spoken Since Super Bowl
BALTIMORE, Md. (CBS) — Talk about brotherly love.
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh admitted on CBS' "The Late Show With David Letterman" Thursday night that he hasn't spoken to his brother, San Francisco 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, since the Super Bowl.
"We have not had a conversation since," the Super Bowl winning coach told Letterman. "We will, soon."
John Harbaugh explained to Letterman that there is no animosity between the two and he believes he will be able to see and talk to his brother within the next couple of weeks.
"We have meetings coming up, we have a combine in two weeks," he said.
Harbaugh added that there's no consoling your brother after you beat him in the Super Bowl.
"There's no consolation," Harbaugh said. "There's no way that you console your brother."
Jim Harbaugh did congratulate his brother on the 34-31 win during the postgame handshake, but it's not clear if he has done so publicly during a news conference yet. Most media reports and interviews in the days since the Super Bowl seem to center on his lingering disappointment over the final offensive play of the game.
