Gas Price In Bay Area Jumps 14.5 Cents In A Week
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS) ― A new survey finds the average price of regular gasoline in San Francisco has jumped 14.5 cents per gallon in the last week.
According to gasoline price website SanFranGasPrices.com, prices in the San Francisco Bay Area on Monday were 81.4 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago - and were also 48.4 cents per gallon higher than just a month ago.
The average national price of a gallon of regular is $3.51, but in the Bay Area the average jumps to $3.93 a gallon.
Fresno has California's lowest gas prices, at $3.70 for a regular gallon.
