Gas Line Capped After Leak In Downtown Burlingame
BURLINGAME (KCBS) — A private construction crew in downtown Burlingame stuck a underground line causing a natural gas leak on Thursday morning.
The construction crew stuck a four-inch natural gas line Burlingame Avenue and Primrose Road at 4:37 a.m. causing a large amount of gas to be released into the air, according to PG&E.

The line was capped shortly after 8 a.m.
Burlingame police Sgt. Don Shepley said businesses were affected, but he did not know how many.
The intersection where the gas leak took place is not far from the Burlingame Caltrain station. A spokeswoman for that agency said the leak did not affect the station.
